Her family expected her to become a lawyer, as her father runs a law firm and her two older brothers already are rising young lawyers. But instead Fiona wanted to become a cop.
In the beginning the relationship between Fiona and her working mate Terry Watson seems a bit tense. Terry doesn't like Fiona's privileged background, "Rich girl plays copper", he says. But Fiona doesn't care about his comments.
