Gavin's a country boy. He's headstrong and with a quick temper. He came to Sydney at the age of 17, fell in love with the ocean and spent six years in the Navy. After finishing Navy service, he joined the Police with the intention of making it into the Water Police one day.
Most of the time he's on board the Nemesis, but he too has been called to investigate in a few cases. He's Rachel Goldstein's substitute partner in a couple of episodes of season two.
