 Detective Frank Holloway accidentally gets in the way for an armed robber, Kiwi Dave. Kiwi Dave pins Frank to the ground, point a home-made gun to his head and fire! Surprisingly the gun explodes in Kiwi Daves face. After he has recovered from the injuries, he's put to jail. He later manage to escape from prison, and since he blames Frank for both the accident with the gun and for putting him in jail, he chases Frank around and makes his life a misery.

Barry Elliot is the father of a four-year-old boy who is found at the bottom of the harbour.
