Detective

Frank Holloway's working partner. She is in her early 30s and mother of young David Goldstein. She has been married to lawyer Jonathon Goldstein. They got divorced because Rachel refused to give up life as a cop to be a full time wife. The court decided that David would do better living with his father.
Rachel is cool and calm and seems to have everything, including her men, under control.
She gets stabbed and dies at the end of the fourth season.
