Our mission in Greymüre is to push the musical envelope beyond the norm in heavy music. Rather than a full on aural onslaught that you might hear from other bands we like to have variety in our music, which includes clean guitars, many effects, clean vocals, and keyboard parts. This all ends up coming out sounding far more intricate and complex than many of our contemporaries. There has been enough random bashing in metal - we're here to make it intelligent again.
Another thing that makes us unique is our range of emotions that we display in our songs. This includes everything from anger to joy, to sorrow, it's all there.

Finally, despite what our genre of music usually implies, none of the band's members are in the least bit Satanic. Their personal faiths can be read on their pages in the members section. We play our own music - music I like to dub "Dark Metal" as it predominantly has a dark sound as in black metal, but also includes other sounds, such as heavy\thrash and death metal, and other moods and emotions. Black metal is all about rebellion and being different - and we agree on this, including it in many of our songs, but we are not about the occult and such like usually associated with our genre.
