As the tornado is creating a monsoon, the team of Rangers are being tossed and turned on the boat.  Though sturdy, they know that their ship can’t last much longer.

“Guys, I don’t think this storm is a natural occurrence,” said Kat as they are all trying to hang on.   Cole, in that instant, closed his eyes and let nature reveal the answer to him.

“The storm that’s taking place isn’t natural.  Its got to be Trakena,” said Cole.

“Makes sense.  She wants to stop us before we have a chance to stop her,” said Kelsey, hanging on to a mast inside the ship.  As the Rangers were figuring out what to do quickly, a huge splash of water came onto the deck, knocking Alyssa into the ocean!

“ALYSSA!” yelled Cole in horror as he saw his teammate hit the water below.  The others saw what happened and were in shock as well!

“Oh my God!  We got to do something!” hollered Cassie.

“WILD ACCESS!” cried Cole as he raced outside to save Alyssa.

“Cole!  Its too dangerous!” yelled Jen but Cole in his Red Ranger form had already hit the water.

“Sure wish Max was here. He’d know what to do,” thought Cole as he searched for Alyssa.  Quickly, he finds her knocked unconscious but alive, floating in the water.  He takes her under his arm, careful to keep her head above the torrential storm around them.  Knowing that they can’t stay there, Cole makes a quick decision.

“WILD FORCE RIDER!” called Cole as his version of a motorcycle came to his rescue.  He puts Alyssa onto the vehicle first, makes sure that her morpher is still there and then attaches her to the cycle.  He quickly gets on and flies it towards the ship, which is still holding but not for much longer!

“Get her inside!” ordered Cole as Kat, Dana (who is a nurse) and Taylor quickly gathered up the water logged lady.  Just as they got Alyssa inside the ship, another wave came at them, this time it knocks Cole off the Wild Force Rider and into the ocean himself!  Alyssa was regaining some consciousness as this happened!

“Cole!” Alyssa said weakly as she still was half out!

“We have to do something!” said Taylor.

“Ladies!  If we or your friend are to have any chance of getting through this, we must get below now!” said Captain Seely.

“Below?  Cole needs us!” said a confused Katie.

“Trust me!  We can’t help him from up here!” reasoned Seely.  Kat then looked into the Captain’s eyes and made a decision.

“Alright ladies!  Let’s get below deck!” ordered Kat.  The female Rangers quickly ran down some stairs until they reached the engine part of the ship.

“Hey, look at this!” said an excited Kelsey.  What was before them was a high powered submarine!  It was about as long as the ship and looked impressive.

“I had this put in just in case of something like this happening to my crew which, in this case, is you.  Now, let’s get aboard!  We’ll get out of here and get your friend!” said Seely.  The rangers quickly got inside, taking care of their friend Alyssa along the way.

“Is there an infirmary on this vessel?” asked Dana.

“Yes, three doors down and to your right,” said Seely.

“Let’s get Alyssa down there and have a place ready for Cole,” ordered Dana.  Kelsey, along with Cassie, Ashley and Taylor helped get Alyssa to the infirmary.

Meanwhile, Captain Seely raced to the front of the vessel to get it started.  While he knew how to drive the ship, he needed two others to help him pilot it.

“I need two pilots to help me with this sub!” said Seely, knowing that if they don’t take off now, they’ll perish with the ship.

“You got it,” volunteered Jen as she thought “wish Lucas was here, he could drive this thing.”

“I’m there,” volunteered Kendrix.

“I also need someone to get the locks loose manually!  The program that would let them loose seems to be damaged!” said Seely.

“No need to worry,” said Katie as she raced to unlock the sub.  Within moments, Seely could feel the sub being let loose.

“How did she…” started Seely but Jen turned to him with a grin.

“Trust me, Katie has a way with locks,” winked the Time Force Pink Ranger!

Seely, feeling more secure now, gives the order to drive off as the sub escaped through its secret compartment on the ship just as the final wave crushed it!  It managed to get far enough away to avoid damage though it was rocked by the waves of the ship being destroyed.

“Now, let’s find Cole!” said the veteran captain.

“We don’t have to look long, there he is!” said Kendrix as she got a blip on the view screen.

“Jen, get him into your view finder and push that blue button,” ordered Seely.  Jen, taken aback by this, still did what he ordered.  Once she got him in the cross hairs, she fired out what looked like torpedoes but as soon at they got near its target, they slowed and out came two grappling hooks that hooked one arm each.  They pulled him back into the ship unharmed.

Later, Cole regains consciousness with him muttering something.

“Alyssa…Alyssa…,” muttered Cole as he finally awoke.

“Alyssa!” yelled the Wild Force Red Ranger as he quickly looked around to get his bearings.  Dana quickly came inside to see what was going on.

“Calm down Cole.  You’re safe here,” said Dana.

“Alyssa!  Is she alright!?” said Cole frantically.

“See for yourself,” said Dana as she pointed to the young lady that is sitting up to see him.  Cole then breathed a sigh of relief.  Then, he realized that it was Dana in a hospital coat.

“You’re a doctor?” asked Cole.

“Yes, I was studying to be a nurse when I became a Lightspeed Rescue Ranger,” replied Dana.

“Carter’s lucky,” said Cole.

“Thanks.  I’ll leave you two alone now,” smiled Dana as she left the room.  As this point, Alyssa made her way over to Cole’s bed.

“You…risked your life for me?” asked Alyssa.  Cole nodded silently.

“My….that’s the sweetest thing…” stammered Alyssa as she tried to find words to express her gratitude.  Cole just smiled and took her hand firmly.

“Hey, I was just doing what all Rangers do.  Save lives,” explained Cole.

As the two continued to talk, they unknowingly had an audience looking in.  It was Taylor, Mya, Cassie and Aiesha looking on.

“Taylor, are those two….”asked Aiesha.

“No, but I do think Alyssa has feelings for him,” responded Taylor.

“Mmm, well, he is cute. No Andros but I can see a woman falling for him,” said Cassie with a giggle as the women walked off, leaving Cole and Alyssa alone in their moment.
