Do a scene with one primitive and make it tall and thin. Texture this primitive with any material preset that you want. Choose any sky with sky presets. Vary only the sky. Drag on the thumbnails in the Sky and Fog Palette, change, any of the colors, move the sun. Make day from night. Night from day. Whatever. Do 4 or 5 of them.

Here I've changed the previous daylight graphic into a night scene. I also changed the direction of the light.

I really went wild here! I changed colors all over the place and varied just about every control. Even though the sky is still the one I started with,it sure doens't look like it.

I used image 3 for my basis of this image. I tried to simulate a sunrise. I couldn't figure out how to actually add the sun into the picture. I later learned how to do this - see the very last image on this page.
Add 20 to 30 primitives so that none touch each other.

Stack 10 primitives, making an image taller than it is wide.

| This was my first attempt. However, things weren't really lined up correctly. See the shadows? | ![]() |
Here I've fixed things by going to different views to ensure that everything is placed correctly.
Here's a flood scene I did to prove I can actually get a sun in the image.
