"Add any primitive to your scene and texture it with any Materials preset you want.
Duplicate it 3 times and space them so you can see all 4 at once. Make some changes to
them, concentrating on reflection, transparency, and frequency."
I used the Symbios material preset from p-hornberg.de. Once I came up with the idea of using
a gold/coppery scene on a black background, I had to go to great lengths to make it work.
I found that making subtle changes to keep my graphic looking cohesive was a lot
harder than making wild changes.
The torus on the right is the original. The one to its left was changed by mostly rotating the pattern
around to give a central line and also making it a lot more transparent. The next one over to the
left was changed mostly by resizing the pattern and rotating it. The left most one had lots done
to it, and I can't begin to remember what all I did. All of them had the reflection changed.
The lights on this one drove me crazy! I had to keep changing them as I changed my materials.
I used the NO LIGHT sky preset and added in my own lights.
