Week 6

Part 1 - Multi-replicate some cones.

Well, ok, I'll give that a try. I did a modern art sculpture that I'll call "Multi-Repped Clam X3."

"Why," you ask?

Because it's a catchy name? (grin) No, because everything here was generated from the same cone with the same material applied. If you examine the base closely, you'll see that its threaded look comes from flattened and rotated cones.

I made the sculpture itself by multi-repping a cone so that it appears to have striations. Then I took that and multi-repped once more adding height and rotation.

Part 2

Use at least 20 rocks and disperse them around using 3d Disperse Size and Rotate. Shove them all under the ground a bit. Add anything else you'd like to the scene and play with the sky. Texture and render.

This actually has 25 or so rocks in it, but some blended together. Others aren't visible in this view. I didn't move them around, as the randomness makes the rocks more realistic. A few rocks can be seen under the water.
