Week 4 - Software Solutions- Olympus C-700

This week is going to be a big help in my ongoing project of scanning in my old slides and negative.

Cathedral
I took this on our 1991 trip to eastern Europe. Just where this
photo was taken escapes me. Some building. Somewhere. (g)
Can you say color shift? Wow! This is really a lot in
not so many years. I hate to see what I'll face with my father's pics.
Carriage Corrected
This really shows how much a photo can be helped with software
corrections. Unfortunately, I did so much to this one that I
didn't write down what all I did. I used the tools from this
week and also corrected scratches.

Carriage
Scanned negative of a carriage ride on St. Margrit's Island. I was
hanging over the back of our carriage to take this.
While this isn't terrible, it could use some help. Those horses look
pretty dingy and the faces aren't the right color.
Carriage Corrected
PSP to the rescue!
Auto Contrast, (Neutral, Normal, Natural),
Color balance (30, 6000),
and Saturation (More Colorful, Normal, Skin tones) applied.
I used Clarify, then resized, and then applied unsharp.
