Week 3

KPT 5

More KPT fun. This week we study KPT 5. Lots of goodies here - ShapeShifter, FiberOptix, Orb-It, Blurr, Noize, etc.

I've used the same KPT5 FraxPlorer image to show off the gradients.


This is the original image and uses a standard preset.	I've copied and pasted portions back in again and again. This really changes the look.	I've taken the gradient that I altered and have changed the saturation on it.	On this I've again taken the previous gradient and changed the contrast.


Same FraxPlorer image, but this time with the Red White and Blue gradient I made in FF1. Pretty dark and murky. No problem - I'll just change the gradient to my liking.	I used Cycle on this to browse to something I like better.	I've changed the Frequency on this one and was able to make the center detail stand out. I like this.	Another variation by changing the brightness.


I used KPT5 standard presets here - Gray Ridges for the background and Plastic Red for the butterfly.	Here's another butterfly shape with the Beehive background and Green Glass butterfly.	I've used imported presets here - several that Joan sent in.

Here are my presets. (argh) I forgot to save them.	My second preset.	And the last one. I do like these. Sure wish I'd saved them.

Here we've been given shapes to work with. I designed my own presets here.


My Teddy was pretty much by the lesson this time using FiberOptix for the fur. Again, Noize for the background.	Here's my Smiling Bug. I used KPT5 Noize for the background. Hmmm... I'm not sure I like the way he's grinning at Teddy.

My Fuzzy Dice. I used several FiberOptix presets here. One kind of looks like tweed carpeting.	And, last of all - my stop light.
