Filter Frenzy 2

Week 6 - More Freebies!!!

It's hard to believe that this great class is drawing to a close with this week's assignment. Thanks so much Sally and Bonesy for your terrific leadership in this class. See ya in FF3!

Unplugged Filters

Lots and lots of filters here. I actually had these already, but had barely explored them. I got caught up in the Filters Unlimited colors, as these really allow some very nice effects. I did try to the FU effects, but haven't posted any here. Instead, I've shown some more of the Colors filters that I really liked.

FU Original FU Primitive FU Primitive 2
A Polly sighting!
Looks like she's back home and among friends again. This is a nice graphic - let's see what I can do to it. (g)
Here I used the Primitive filter to enrich the colors, since my image is predominately the primary colors - red, blue, and yellow and a mixture of blue and yellow - green. I like this better than the original. Another Primitive, but using mostly red and blue to create a mostly two toned effect, but still rather natural looking.
FU Color Shifter FU Hue Flip FU Solarize
This is Color Shifter. I can get some really pretty colors and yet still retain the natural color variation of the original graphic. I used Hue Flip to colorize this to my favs - turquoise and purple. Lastly, we have Filters Unlimited version of Solarize.

Other Filters Unlimited Modules

There are lots of other filters here, but I've chosen just a few to show off the different effects.

FU SHapes Radial FU SHapes 45 Degree Rectangle
Here's Polly again with her friends.
Oh oh, looks like someone from FF1 is taking aim at her using the Shapes Radial filter. This has all the birds upset.
Another Polly. This time I used the Shapes 45 Degree Rectangle to create a frame for Polly's picture.

MuRa Cloud Filter

While this is called Cloud, you can do a whole lot more than just generate nice skies with clouds.

Cloud Nebula
I forgot to write down exactly what I used for this. On all of these I've used colors from the parrot to create my background. This is Nebula.
Cloud Nebula
This is called "Crack" but I've manipulated it to look like marble. I used the Silk preset here.
