Whew! Bonesy, you really piled it on us this week! Lots of stuff to learn, but these are some of the very things I was really interested in learning, so it was fun.

| After I adjusted the contrast and red color cast using levels. Then I colorized the shirt using a layer mask. To tidy things up, I erased his knee and cigarette. Good thing the wrong finger isn't pointing now. (grin) |

Here I've used a gradient in, what else, a fill layer.

| Here the gradients are dithered. | Not Dithered This isn't showing up very well, but this has banding. |

I made Easter eggs with gradients. I found it difficult to get a good light reflection spot on my eggs
until I realized I had to add a white color stop on my gradient and move the next color stop fairly close
to it to avoid a huge reflection.
I went on and added a background layer fill flooded with a gradient with a grid placed on top. I then
added a gradient to a stroke around the entire graphic to make a frame.

Similar technique to the eggs, but just a bit more complex.

| Right side is dark. | Here I added a quick mask gradient to lighten the right side of the image. |
