Here we are on a hillside overlooking a mountain lake. There's a dusting of snow on top of the peaks (My White Surface Layer).
New spring growth (Green layer) is busting out all over. Down at lakeside level you can even see patches of wild flowers. (Yellow
Layer). Must be Oxalis, as it's overgrown the rocks. (grin)
I had added a very sparse sprinkling of pink for flowers, but took it out. Too much. Instead I worked on making my
foreground more believable. By playing with altitudes etc. on my white layer, it did double duty as stony surfaces on in foreground.
This is the same image Britt wanted to see with the pink added. Not the same pink I started out with, though. I was able to get it to apply to my forground, but not into the snow by fiddling with th settings we learned this week. The other pink layer I had really painted the background hills pink, pink, pink and was waaaaay too much. This looks better.

Here's the pattern I used. Who would think it would end up like it did in the render? I did do quite a bit of playing around with it.
