Every one of us has called someone and gotten a busy signal. We have all had someone say if you need help ask. You ask and they can never do it when you need it done. Maybe they say yes but never show up. They were busy doing something else. Too busy for you. These things make us sad.

Even harder to accept is the fact that someone says, "I'm your friend. I'm here if you need me. Call if you want to talk." You call and they're too busy to talk. Often times they say call back. If you do it is likely that they're not going to be there. That is as far as you can guess. You don't ever really know. With voice mail and answering machines one can be more selective as to whom they choose to speak to. If they never answer when you call you wonder if they really care.

The hardest thing to accept is if someone says they'll call you back but never does. Of course they have a reason or could it be an excuse. You not only feel sad you feel forsaken. In a lot of cases you know in your heart that the reason they gave you isn't the truth. The truth is they don't really care enough about you to spend time talking about something that is bothering you.

Let me assure you that God is never too busy to listen to your concerns. If you ask Him for help you will get it. Christians are to do as their loving Father teaches them. If you are too busy for people in need then you have not learned your lesson well. You are not letting God's love flow through you to the world.

If you say you care you need to show it. If you don't care, don't say that you do. It hurts to find out that someone you thought cared about you doesn't. Don't do to others what you don't want done to you by someone else.God will return to you all the good you do for others. It may not be right away but it will be. If you are too busy for other you'll miss many blessings.

If you are too busy for people now it likely won't be too long before you are too busy for God. What if God were too busy for you? Well he never is and never will be, but if He were your life would fall into despair. Even if we do not recovnize God's hand in our everyday life it is there. Being too busy for time with God will make you miss the blessings He gives you.

Take time now to thank God for all that He has done for you. Then go ahead and make time for others in your life. Not a feww minutes here and there so you can feel charitable. Put your heart in it. You will help someone and make yourself feel great for doing so. Love given away will multiply itself when it comes back to you.
