I realize this isn't the most scholarly tome one would find on the Tudors, but it is definitely one of the most unique.  This book has scratch and sniff panels of a Tudor street scene, Henry VIII's foot with lost gangrenous toe, and the lavender used as a "cure" for the plague.  There are gruesome drawings of dead bodies and blood, including some recent work performed by a barber surgeon.  There are mentions of period items here, but mostly, it is just a quick read with a unique air to it.
