OF DISTRIBUTED PARALLEL
PROCESSING ON POWER SYSTEM
ABRTRACT:
The project managers want to use parallel processing
system to improving the power station performance. In each power station the SCADA system
is used for data gathering and dispatching and control. So in each station there is a huge
processing power requirements that can be handled by parallel processing system in more
efficient manner than any other approaches. On the other hand a global management and
control system monitors the power network of country. So the control system of the each
station must related to global control system. This approach for control directs the
control designer to use distributed parallel processing system that divided to clusters.
Each cluster of processor is used in a power station.
This projects is divided to following sections:
Study phase:
Visiting the power station and finding the current situation of control system.
Study the current situation of parallel and distributed processing (software and hardware).
System Proposal:
Proposing the best hardware architecture for this application.
Proposing the best OS for system.
In the future the result of this research used for implementing the system.
