“Okay, now if you can all please quiet down,” Dave spoke. “I would like to start with the introductions.” He looked back at us and I nodded. “The flower girl and ring barer, Morgan Sikes and Mackenzie Hanson.” The two walked out, smiling, then turned to their sides. “The first usher and Junior Bride’s Maid, Justin Castor and Chloe Famisino.” They walked out and turned to their sides. “The second usher and Senior Bride’s Maid, Gary Tasino and Megan Sanders.” They walked out like the others. “The two Best Men and Maids of Honor, Zachary Hanson, Taylor Hanson, Jessica Anderson and Susan Masters.” After they were out and in position, it was mine and Jenn’s turn. “And now, for the first time in public, I would like to introduce Mr. and Mrs. Clarke Hanson.” Everyone applauded. “And now, if everyone could sit, with the exception of the bride and groom. They will be dancing to their first song as a married couple.”
“Back At One” by Brian McKnight started up. “This is awesome,” Jenn spoke softly. I smiled and nodded. “I love you.”
“I love you too,” I replied. Jenn put her head on my shoulder. I kissed the top of her head and continued to dance.
“Any couple can join in now,” Dave spoke.
I looked around and saw Zac and Jess, Meg and Gary, Justin and Chloe, Mac and Morgan, and all four of our parents dancing.
Once the song ended, Dave asked for Jenn and Nick to come out onto the dance floor. The opening chords of “Butterfly Kisses” started up.
They danced to the song as Angela cried quietly. I sat by my mom and dad, grinning like a mad man. They smiled at me then watched as Nicholas and Jennifer separated once the song over. Jenn kissed her dad, a few tears creeping down her cheek. Nick hugged her and walked over to us with his arm around his daughter.
“Hey, Baby,” I hugged her. “You okay?” I kissed her salty tears away. “Yea,” she sniffed, smiling a bit. I grinned back at her. How could I not?
Before we knew it, it was time to cut the cake. Jenn looked at me suspiciously as we each cut a small piece. Jenn and I neared, each with a piece in hand. Just as the cake neared each of our faces, I shoved the cake that was in my hand in Jenn’s face as she shoved hers in mine. We were both giggling like anything.
“You jerk,” she laughed harder. “Y-you should see your face.”
I smiled. “You should see yours,” I laughed.
Everyone started to come up for his or her cake. Mom brought Jenn and I a cloth to wipe off the messes on our faces. Jennifer smiled as she helped me wipe off all the icing. Of course she wiped her face first.
Once my mess was cleaned up, Jenn and I went out to the dance floor. “May I have this dance?” I asked, K-Ci and Jo Jo’s “All My Life” playing on the stereo.
Jenn nodded and we walked out to the dance floor, hand in hand. “I love you, Baby,” I said softly in Jenn’s ear.
“I love you, too,” she whispered back. Her voice sounded so grown up. I looked at her and got a flood back of memories.

“You can call me Jenn. I prefer it actually.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“I like you too…a lot.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“I want you to have this. When you look at it, think of me. Then we’ll never be apart.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“No go ahead. You can sit there. I just sat here so I could kick Jessie’s seat.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“I love you too, Isaac.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“Call me as soon as you get home…so I don’t worry.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“Thanks, you look pretty good yourself.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“Amazing. Sweet even when you’re sick.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"If I'm with you, I'm comfortable anywhere, anytime."
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“I get two sleeping beauties next to me on the beach. Life is good.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“Like you really had a choice between driving us and shopping or not.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“Someone slugged me at the mall.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“Hey, Ike. Thanks for being here for me."
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"Um, 49ers...49ers...now, WHAT do they do again? Baseball or Ice Hockey?"
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"Now it's my turn. The way you look at me and over me makes me feel safe. It's like you watch over me and make sure nothing can get to me. When you kiss me, I'm oblivious to the world. It's just you and me. We're basically alone in the world. Then when you hold me with your strong arms, I feel like nothing can get to me. I'm safe as far as I'm concerned."
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"Ohhh, but I want to sleep in YOUR room!"
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"Geez! How long does it take to take a shower nowadays? When I was your age—“
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"Oh, come on, you know what those eyes do to me."
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“I’ve never skied in my life…This is going to be a good show for a lot of people.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“I’d hit you, but I need the energy for this little…adventure you have me going on.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“Of course I’ll go steady with you, Isaac.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“I used to be a neatfreak…wonder what happened.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“We got really sweet in a park…why am I telling you three this?”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“I love you, Clarke Isaac.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
As the song ended, I came back to reality. This was one celebrity wedding that was going to work.
