In The Cure For All Diseases, by the late Hulda R. Clark, Ph.D., N.D., Dr. Clark says, "Lead and copper are commonly seen in schizophrenia sufferers. The usual source for these is the household water (household copper plumbing may have lead solder joints). Change plumbing to non-toxic PVC; then take thioctic acid... (See book for details.)

Hulda's advice for schizophrenia sufferers is to:
1. Stop eating all grain products (including alcoholic products made from grains), nut products, syrups and honey, immediately.
2.. Sterilyze all dairy products, whether they have been pasturized or not (rolling boil for 16 seconds).
3. Search for lead and copper in the plumbing that is used for bathing and drinking.
4. Stop drinking commercial beverages, including bottled water.
5. Do Hulda's herbal Parasite Cleanse (Black Walnut, Wormwood and Cloves - see book).
6. Eliminate Shigellas with her Bowel Program (page 539).
7. Soak raw fruits and vegetables in three drops Lugol's Iodine solution (see Products); then rinse in plain water, before eating and/or cooking.
8. Give away pets Schizophrenia is too risky for re-infection.
9. Do the dental cleanup (see page 405).
The need to cleanse repeaedly arises from reinfection. Nothing needs to be killed twice, but re-infection from self, family members, pets and food can happen every hour. One cannot rely on cleansing to stay well. Do a thorough diagnostic search of all foods eaten at the last meal, the water consumed, the air breathed. Only when all these are clean, will the brain heal (itself of schizophrenia)...
...When can you eat grains again? When you are well...Remember, ergot (bread mold) makes lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), not a good thing for a schizophrenic brain." Honey, too, has ergot. Hulda recommends adding 1/4 teaspoon vitamin C (buffered) to new jars of honey and syrup to kill possible molds. If you become ill again after re-starting grains, go off of them again. She also recommends adults take 500 mg. Niacinamide (not Niacin if you don't like the "flush") three (3) times a day, to speed up ergot detoxification by the liver..."Healing of the brain is very rapid; in less than one week feelings and behavior are more normal."
