Retired and living life to its Fullest.
No Children and no Grandchildren. No time -- Had a good time visiting with
my classmates at our 45th Reunion. Hoping to make it to the 50th. The
years have been good to me even though I have come though Three Hurricanes
and Open Heart Surgery. This "Getting Old" stuff is NOT for the weak at
heart.

I always thought the 60's would be the golden years; rest, relaxation and carefree days. That has not quite been the pattern since I rolled into this decade. It has been, go as fast as you can, multi-task and keep up with changing technology. In all honesty, I would not change one thing and on the upside, there are wonderful Grandchildren, we have a great church family, and good friends to share our lives with. I am thankful I am a Christian - I owe everything to the Lord. |
