I work for the Department of Defense Dependents' Schools, teaching children whose parents are in the military. I left the US in 1976 to live in Japan (a Naval Air Facility at Atsigu, Japan) for 12 years, then moved to Germany (to an Army base in Augsburg, Germany) , where I taught for 10 years. I moved from there to an Air Force base in the Azores, which are small Portuguese Islands 900 miles of Lisbon...out in the Atlantic Ocean. In August 2003, I moved to Soham, England. Now I teach four-year-olds on RAF Lakenheath, which is an American Air Force Base about an hour north of London. I do get to Huntington at least once or twice a year and always
enjoy the "girls" get together! |

I also have ½ acre vineyard, which products grapes for eating and for supplying my hobby of winemaking. I am newly married (Nov 2008) to Peggy, who is a retired Asst. Principal from Putnam County. Together we have one daughter, three sons, and one granddaughter. |
