1953-1999

Lt. Deborah A. "Debbie" Shelton, a 24 year veteran of the Copperas Cove Police Department in Texas, died April 28th 1999, after a ten year battle with cancer.

Debbie was also a collector of patches and badges, which were displayed at her Police Department. I started trading with Debbie in 1985.

To honor the long time Police Officer, who was loved by the Community, the City of Copperas Cove named the Copperas Cove Law Enforcement Center the, "Deborah A. Shelton Law Enforcement Center.

Debbie, you will be missed by all of us.

"Together Again"
A limb has fallen from the family tree,
I keep hearing a voice that says,
"Grive not for me."
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song,
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue traditions, no matter how small,
Go on with your lives, don't just stare at the wall.
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin,
Until the day comes, and we're all
Together Again

"Sheltered In The Arms Of God"
I feel the touch of hands so warm and tender,
they're leading me in paths that I must cross.
I'll fall asleep and wake in God's new heaven.
Sheltered safe within the arms of God.
