Not much time so forgive the short post, but I just got in from a shopping trip and saw (and heard) something amazing! As I approached the counter to pay, I heard the unmistable sound of hiccups. My radar went off. Then I heard it again, but not exactly in the same place! It's been....years. ..since I saw a good case, so I asumed my radar was malfunctioning, but no, it seems that BOTH the store clerk AND a customer in the front had hiccups at the same time! Brief descriptions: clerk, mid-20's, quiet, hiccups mostly silent but occasionally a "hic" would slip out. Medium build. Shopper: Younger, probably 20. Dark hair in a ponytail, cute, has what we in LA refer to as a "muffin top" meaning that she had a pouchy stomach that fell out over her pants, but she wasn't what I would term obese, just pudgy. (Of course, in LA if you are not a stick, you are considered obese, but don't get me started.) She was hiccuping hard and fast and most were loud. The ones that were not caused her neck to cave in and her stomach to really bounce. I only had about 3 minutes to observe because the store manager quickly got me checked out and out of the store (lucky me to get such wonderful customer service at the one time when I would have liked to tarry....) but it was great! So, my long drought has ended and I'm hopeful this is the beginning of some frequent sightings! I wish the same for all of you! I'm being called...... gotta run!
