On it's way for repair! Past MP198.25 South of Conroe, Tx Northbound on UP Palestine Sub.

January 28, 2000 A Truck with oversize load from Texas got stuck on crossing In LA County in the city of Glendale..The apparatus on truck was for a refinery. Truck had required pilot cars AND police escort!! Crash involved Metrolink Train 901 led by #861 Locomotive. How Austin figures into the delivery route, I'm not sure. Metrolink has at least one other wrecked unit (865 - collided with a BNSF intermodal (Update Jan. 2001 #861 was returned to LA, Ca. and is presumably back in service)
