Agreed following recommendations:

1.      Continue donations to CAB and Hospice

2.      No donations for NW Air Ambulance Service, Camshaft and Community Safety Officers but

3.      Inform NWAAS no funds available at moment but may consider if the appeal does not produce sufficient funds

4.      Reconsider Community Safety Officers when scheme under way

1.      Clerk reported on action taken to issue notices and invite prospective co-optees

2.      Chairman urged that urgent business must be to elect new Vice Chairman at Council meeting on 16-12-04

DES reported on training session by CBC on Finance – notes to be circulated

11.  Members’ items

1.      CAD – Kinderton – Clerk reported on meeting held earlier in evening.  CCC wish to defer application until Environment Agency have determined application to extend existing tipping at Danes Moss Congleton

2.      Petitions – DES asked for guidance on signature of petitions.  Chairman and Clerk explained that it was up to individual Councillors but traditionally HCPC Councillors had declined.  This was probably more important with current code of conduct and developing practice on disclosure of interests

3.      West Way – Concern being expressed by residents about traffic using West way to avoid queues at Chester Rd traffic signals – Clerk to refer to T&P

4.      Aventis – Clerk reported CBC in some discussion with agents about future use of site – Clerk to refer to T&P
