There were two Christopher Holmes in Virginia in the same time frame- one the son of John and Mary Holms of Prince William, Co. Va. The other the son of George Hoomes Sr. of Caroline Co. Va. Both were listed in their wills. The question, as always, remained as to which family Christopher Hoomes of Culpeper Co. Va. belonged to. C.
