Poetry As Such No. 4
- A quivering leaf, star-spangled with dew,
- Sends a flickering, beckoning light...
- Sometimes I feel that I can fly,
- Spreading my joy upon the blue...
- All you will see of us here are our footprints---
- ('We may never pass this way again')...
- The moon outshines
- the sinking sun
- As, with twin shadows
- keeping pace,
- We hurry home...
- Sinuous, curling,
- Flashing ahead of the surf unfurling...
- Hand in hand,
- Fingers entwined, along the sand...
