This is The Rock. It probably weighs about 500 pounds. We dragged it out of the deep end when they dug a pool at our old house. We used a liftgate truck and pry bars to move this and other large rocks from our old house to our new house. This rock took several days to flip from up by the driveway in the front, down the outside stairs and into position. Around it are lilies of the valley, mugo pine, myrtle, English ivy, iris and tulips. This picture was taken 2 weeks after planting. The liner is under sand, pea gravel and smooth stones.
