The Grinches Who Stole Bulldog

I won't bore you with catchphrases and repetitious gags that have become the staple of this column for three-plus years now. Apparently, most of you don't care for it anyways, if this thread on the message boards ("Does Bulldog's Column Suck?") is any indication. So let's cut right to the heart of the situation.

DOES Bulldog's Column Suck? I never thought so, but I find myself doubting it more and more now.

I wouldn't want one person's opinion (especially someone who just registered on the boards specifically to bitch about ITR) to influence a decision like this, but when I noticed that the negative/indifferent

comments outweighed the positive comments, I felt it may be time to reconsider.

Look, I'm not going to get into WHY someone should or should not read my column. Nor will I try to explain the "joke". Humor is an extremely objective thing. If ITR needs defending, it's probably not worth the effort.

So this is what I'm asking of you: hop over to the official Inside The Ropes website and let me know what you think. Here's the question:

Should Bulldog Retire ITR?

(A) Yes.
(B)  No.
(C)  Don't Ask Me - I'm Just A Girl
(D)  She Suuuuuuuure Is.

And of course, answer honestly, and please feel free to drop me a line with any other thoughts. I want to know the truth! If ITR sucks, I'll end my multimillion dollar contract with Webmaster Rick Scherer and find something else to do.

For example: ever since by best-selling book was published last summer, people have been after me to expand my literary horizons. So here is my first attempt at a new genre -- Children's Publishing:

Remember, if you heard it here first, it's… Inside The Ropes.

…BUT FOR HOW LONG???
