binding darkness

You’re the One

You fill my sweetest dreams
You fill my sleep
You fill my heart with love
You make my life complete

When all is said and done
Darling I know you’re the One.

Down in my lonely bed
Thought about you as the moon
Listening to the sad songs down below
Thought about you as the stars

Wish that I could let you go
Think about you as the sun
So you’re everywhere I go
But darling I know that you're the One.

Oh how I long to dream
To drown myself in you
Surround myself safe in your arms forever.

Darling I know you’re the One.
Funny how the circle turns
Funny how the flame still burns
Now that all is said and done
Darling I know you're the One

Remember … hold me close

Darling I know you're the One.

Taken off the soundtrack of "Circle of Friends" starring Minnie Driver, Chris O Donnell and others. I remember watching this movie with my 2 of my best friends during varsity days only to be rather amused by the method employed by O Donnell's character to chase our supposedly physically-not-attractive but character-wise lovely heroine played by Driver. Absolutely loved the Irish accents … Driver's character was walking with O Donnell’s character by a river. She mentions a movie in which the unattractive heroine was apprehensive about her large hands but her boyfriend just puts on her gloves and told her "no, they’re about right". O Donnell's character just smiles at her. The next time they are walking through town he puts on her gloves and tells her "yup, they’re about right for me too" or something like that. Offbeat is always good no? This song is lovely but there are one or two words I could not quite catch, so I’ve substituted them to make the lyrics more suitable for the bish captured *grins*.
