Everlast's '95 Land Rover Defender

LARGE & IN CHARGE: A massive sub box takes up most of the cargo area (above); removing a panel on the box reveals a Plexi window and a view of the two Kove 12-inch subs inside (inset)

TOWER OF POWER: On top of the sub box is a rack housing four U.S. Amps amps; the inside of a lid that flips over the rack is lined with a plastic mirror

STEEL WHEELS: In the compartment on the driver's side of the cargo area next to the sub box resides a 10-disc CD changer

BATTERY PARK: A compartment on the passenger's side of the cargo area contains a U.S. Amps SPL-1000 battery, a pair of StreetWires fused power-distribution blocks, and a switch for the neon lights in the sub box

HOUSE OF THE SPEAKERS: A Kove 6 1/2-inch mid is installed in each door, and a Kove 4-inch mid and 1-inch tweet sit in a custom enclosure in the passenger's-side kickpanel (above, left); both the door and kick speaker have removable grilles (above, right)

THE POD SQUAD: A kick-panel pod in the driver's side holds another Kove 4-inch midrange and 1-inch tweeter (above, left); a removable grille hides the speakers (above, right)

BABY'S GOT BACK: Behind the Land Rover's seats on each side of the sub box (above, right...the hat on top of the box belongs to Everlast), is a Kove 10-inch sub in a sealed box (above, left) and a Kove 4-inch mid and tweet in a separate enclosure above it

TWEAK ON A LEASH: A Precision Power PEQ-114 equalizer is positioned in a custom ABS-plastic housing over a Blaupunkt Alaska RDM 168 CD receiver in the stock-radio location in the center console
