Sadly the information was taken off the web for a couple of months...but now, Mr. N. Wayne Cosby has graciously given his kind permission to link to his wonderful data base. This will take you to another site, Mr. Cosby's web site, where you will scroll down the page to the links and click on the link entitled: Click Here to Proceed to Search Form. This will take you to Mr. Cosby's poignant Christin Claire Cosby Dedication Page.At the bottom of the page is another link entitled: Click Here to Access the Search Form. You will be sent to the Cemetery Data Base Search Form and follow the instructions to enter information about the soldier whom you are searching for. If on file, the results, in Mr. Cosby's data base will then be displayed in a format similar to the one shown below...

Additionally, an Appendix Link exists on some of the men and by clicking on the Appendix Link, additional information with regards to that particular soldier will be displayed. This information can be of further assistance to the researcher for additional information with regards to his/her ancestor.
Sadly enough, there are many former Louisiana Civil War Soldiers who are NOT listed in these compiled listing of the Honored Dead. Should YOU have information regarding such a soldier, you might wish to pass that information on to the fine folks at the Mr. Cosby's web site or pass the information on to me and I will make sure that he receives it.
