This world wide web site is another accomplishment by Thomas C. Cardwell and portrays the 1st Louisiana Cavalry with rosters, campaigns, history, and photographs in a very well executed web site that is easy to navigate around.
1st Louisiana Heavy Artillery Regiment
The 1st Louisiana Heavy Artillery Regiment is a very good web site filled with the history, documents, photographs, diaries, letters, biographies, muster roll records an much more. Easily navigated and well constructed.
3rd Louisiana Cavalry Regiment
The 3rd Louisiana Cavalry Regiment, also known as the 9th Louisiana Battalion, and Partisan Randers gives the student of the 3rd Louisiana Cavalry an excellent history of the unit along with rosters, photographs, letters and more. A very good web site designed by webmaster Neale S. Brown. This site is very easily navigated.

The regiment is colorful and rich in history which this website (still under construction) attests to. This Louisiana regimental web site is a very good site portraying the 9th Louisiana Infantry (the Louisiana Tigers) and is rich with information in the form of rosters (including facts about the men), campaigns, history, photographs and above all the ideals which can be appreciated by a southern gentleman. The webmaster, Thomas C. Cardwell has done a masterful job in bringing this regiment to the world wide web.
9th Battalion Louisiana Infantry
This Louisiana regimental web site is a very good site portraying the 9th Battalion Louisiana Infantry and is rich with information with regards to the Battle of Baton Rouge as well as the Siege of Port Hudson. Currently in the works is the compilation of a Roster of the men who served in this Louisiana battalion.The webmaster, Michael Jones has done a masterful job in bringing this Louisiana unit to the world wide web.

The 10th Louisiana, also called "Lee's Foreign Legion" is a good web site devoted to the men who served with honor in this regiment in almost every major campaign of the estern theatre of the war with Robert E. Lee. The site also includes a complete listing of the roster of men who served in the 10th Louisiana.

28th Thomas' Louisiana Infantry Regiment

28th Gray's Louisiana Infantry Regiment
This web site is designed and maintained by Steven C. Pipes who had an ancestor who served in the 28th Gray's. The 28th Gray's took part in engagements in Louisiana and took an active roll in the Red River Campaign culminating at the Battle of Mansfield. This site is rich in rosters, history, photographs, biographies, and much more. Beautifully designed and is graphically pleasing along with easily navigated links.
Washington Artillery of New Orleans
This excellent web site is full of history, roster, photos, engagements, historical documents and a profusion of information regarding the special aspect of the American Civil War artillerist. This web site is also dedicated to the art of Civil War reenacting (living history) and is one of the best examples anywhere to be found -- both on the web and in the field.
Louisiana Infantry Units
This web site is a new site that is in the process of listing the various infantry units from the State of Louisiana and further breaking them down into various companies with the listing of men who served in these units. The site is new and currently under construction. This site looks like the brainchild of N. Wayne Cosby who has an excellent web site with thousands of burial sites of Louisiana Confederate Soldiers. Lots of room to grow.
