Career Goal

While on active duty in the United States Coast Guard, I became involved and performed with various community bands and ensembles.  As a result of this rewarding experience, I decided to pursue a career in music education.  My goal as a music teacher is to bring this enthusiasm into the classroom so students can also enjoy music.  In addition to my student teaching experience, I have taught students in a community band camp and students in my private studio.  I look forward to the opportunity to teach music to students in a public school environment.
