Unrelated Links

These links are to non-automotive related sites. They reflect many of my other personal interests. I highly recommend each and every one of these sites. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy!

Aint It Cool News

Easily the best site online for information and rumors about upcoming movies and television shows in the sci-fi/fantasy genre. Also a great source for early reviews on films that haven't been released yet. Wanna know info about upcoming properties such as Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, The Matrix, and Star Trek? Check this site out.

Encyclopedia Metallica
A fan site all about Metallica. This site has EVERYTHING regarding Metallica. I prefer it to their official site. For up to date info on what the band is up to, this is the place.

X-Entertainment
No this is not a porn site. It is however my absolute favorite site on the web. If you were born in the late seventies to early eighties I can't recommend this page enough! The author writes articles dealing with toys, cartoons, movies, commercials, and all other forms of mass media from the eighties till now. I get a laugh every time I visit this site. A word of caution though, the language and humor can be a bit offensive and adult at times. I wouldn't recommend this site for the young-ens. Otherwise, if you're a child of the eighties like me, check it out!

Homestar Runner
This is my other absolute favorite website. It may look absolutely ridiculous at first, but it is hilarious. This site is basically a cartoon site utilizing flash animation. I can't recommend this one enough. If you've never heard of the Homestar Runner than you need to check this out. Make sure to take a look at Strong Bad's emails. They alone are worth the visit.

Star Trek: Hypertext
An excellent review site for Star Trek episodes. This site covers Enterprise, Voyager, Deep Space Nine, and the Original Series. Also several of the movies are reviewed here as well. Unfortunately there are no reviews up for The Next Generation at this time. If you enjoy any of the Star Trek series, this is a great site to visit for reviews.

The Phantom Menace Sucks Page
Were you one of the many people who were slightly more than "disappointed" with the first Star Wars prequal? If so, than this is the page for you. A great place to read articles by fellow dissapointed fans and to share your opinion of the film.

Newgrounds.com
This is a site I recently discovered that contains tons of different cartoons, games, and other hilarious stuff submitted by people online. The video game section alone makes it totally worth it. Super Grand Theft Auto Bros.....need I say more? Needless to say this site runs a bit more on the adult side of things. Kiddies beware. Take a look.

The Futura/Batmobile Home Page
A fun page with EVERYTHING you ever wanted to know about the original Batmobile used in the 60's TV series. There's more to learn about this vehicle than you would think. Also has some nice links to other sites dealing with famous Hollywood cars.

Roger Ebert's Review Page at Chicago Sun Times
The site for Roger Ebert's movie reviews. Although I don't always agree with his reviews, I often like to see what Ebert thinks about movies since he's pretty much the most well known movie critic today.

Rotten Tomatoes
This site has reviews of movies by all the different critics all in one place. Combines the critics' reviews into a scale of 0 to 100% giving it an overall rating of rotten or fresh. For a broad range of opinions on the latest movies this is your destination.

The DVD Journal
Contains TONS of DVD news and reviews. The best place to find out release dates for upcoming DVDs. Also has extensive reviews of extra features and hidden bonuses. The ultimate DVD site.

The Nitpicker's Site
A fun site if you're a fan of movies. Ever noticed a glaring mistake in a movie? This site gives detailed listings of all the little mess ups in movies such as plot holes, editing mistakes, actor screw ups and other fun little goofs. Covers TV shows as well. This can be a very addictive website.

Crusader's Movie Reviews
My friend Robby Storey's personal movie review site. On his site he has reviews of the most recent movies released. Provides a refreshing change of pace from the reviews by "professional" critics who seem to be a bit jaded to say the least. For reviews from the perspective of an ordinary college student, this is the place for you.

The Redtag Official Band Site
This is the webpage for my good friend Chris Hawkes' band Redtag. I realize people are always plugging bands, but these guys are truly talented and worth giving a chance. If you live in the DFW area and like local music, visit this page!
