Danni Leigh's video for "Honey I Do" is the number # 1 Video in Brazil this week (CMT Brazil)! This makes her second video to achieve the # 1 status in Brazil! The other # 1 was for "If The Jukebox Took Teardrops".

DANNI LEIGH MAKES MADEMOISELLE
Danni Leigh will be featured in the June issue of fashion magazine Mademoiselle. The article is entitled "Sex And The Country" and is a comparison of four female country singers with the characters of the hit
HBO series "Sex And The City". "Her tunes show she takes romance like a man" observed the writer of Leigh who they compared to the show's saucy Samantha character. "She details her turn-ons ("Little Things") but some songs reveal her tender side. COMMON BOND: Seen-it-all sex goddesses with a soft touch." (Nashville Update)

Singer Danni Leigh has been in the studio working on her debut disc 'A Shot Of Whiskey And A Prayer' on Monument Records set to hit record stores June 27. Turns out there is a historical significance to her project . The producers on the album Richard Bennett and Emory Gordy Jr. are the team responsible for Steve Earle's 'Guitar Town' disc which has was credited by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the best 100 albums ever recorded. Danni's upcoming project marks the first time the duo have worked together since Earle's landmark album. Danni's infectious first single 'Honey I Do' is presently working its way up the country charts.

Breaking news on Danni Leigh!...
(Jan 30, 2000).
She will be broadcasting an acoustic show for 45 minutes in the Ashland, KY area on February 5th. The show will be recorded at the Paramount Art Center in Ashland, KY, and hosted by WTCR Radio in Huntington, WV. On February 25 & 26,Danni will be performing on the Grand Ole Opry!!  Friday evening she will be doing the 7:30 show, on Saturday, she'll be performing at 6:30 & 9:30pm. Whether the show will be televised is yet to be determined, but I'll let ya know as soon as I hear!! VOTE...NOW!!!!!!.....

Yes she was beautiful all her life. Did y'all know that she was Miss Shenandoah County Fair, which is the only beauty contest in our area. When she did her homecoming concert at our Mayfest this year they had a booth set up with her pagent dress and some other costumes and such that she had worn.  It was pretty cool. I hope she is able to come play at home every year!

She actually graduated with my brother, so she knows him better. I graduated with her brother-in-law and her sister is one year younger than I am. That whole family is as sweet as can be.
