BILLY BLOCK'S WESTERN BEAT ROOTS REVIVAL ANNOUNCED

Buddy Lee Attractions has just announced the Billy Block Western Beat Roots Revival Tour for 2002. The "HIP" live touring entourage based on the critcially acclaimed syndicated radio and television show hosted by Western Beat's impresario Billy Block will feature Hank III, The Derailers, DANNI LEIGH, Rodney Crowell, and Chris Knight. DANNI LEIGH, Chris Knight, and Rodney Crowell will be backed by The Western Beat All Stars band consisting of Billy Block (drums), Kenny Vaugh (guitar), Robert Reynolds (bass guitar), and Eric Holt (keyboards). Danni Leigh Shoots Video For "Sometimes"

On Friday, November 9th, Danni Leigh, and Director, Roger Pistole shot the video for the single, Sometimes. The video will start airing at the end of November. Audium plans to release the single to radio in mid-December for airplay in early January. The Divide & Conquer album containing the single was released to retail on November 6th following a GAC pre-release campaign. Sometimes was shot on location in Ashland City, TN about 30 minutes west of Nashville. About 8:30AM, the crew gathered at the TOWN MOTEL just inside the city limits to begin a 12 hour day of shooting both inside and outside the hotel. The concept takes place in your basic lost highway Bates Motel”AC & Cable TV. Rogers vision was to find a place that was real, gritty, oddly quaint and a little spooky. Built in the 1950s” sparsely remodeled with 70s furniture. Dannis surreal waitingroom. A pit-stop on her journey from past to future, in-between heaven and hell, somewhere near insanity. A place to gather her wits, what's left of them. Look for a special cameo appearance from Lucky Lawrence of The Souvenirs. Until the video is finished and all the edits are made, it is hard to give you a final description, but the viewer will get to see a different side of Danni Leigh. You might even get a sneak-peak of her without the hat” so be watching. Shown below is the TOWN MOTEL in Ashland City along with scenes from the motel room.
