DANNI LEIGH - Divide & Conquer
(Audium) With her impressive 1998 debut, Leigh was trumpeted as the next Dwight Yoakam. But, she followed that effort with a weaker one that sanded off the rougher hillbilly edge for mainstream radio. Now, with Yoakam's producer, Pete Anderson, the throaty barroom stylists finds her way home, tempering the cracked-heart desperation of traditional country with rootsy, '60s-style pop. Hot-blooded and honkin'.  Alanna Nash B+

Danni's New Video
Danni Leigh's video, "Sometimes," will start airing on GAC this Friday, December 14 in a Medium Rotation. That means GAC will be playing it between 18-20 times per week. CMT LOVES the video and held it off last week to see if they would have a HOT SHOT ROTATION slot this week. If they do, it will be  played 42 times per week starting Monday, December 17. Keep your fingers  crossed and be watching! You'll finally get a chance to see Danni without her hat in a couple of scenes. The single just shipped to radio today so maybe you will get to hear it soon on your local radio station.

Danni's message board is currently down on her website due to some construction. It should be back up in a few days. Thanks for your patience.

Thanks for hanging n there. I don't think I have ever seen Danni as happy as
she is right now.

Let's country on.......
