This week, Danni Leigh and Pete Anderson begin recording her third album   release for Audium Records. The album is slated to be released in early fall  2001.  Although Danni tours extensively in the U.S., she also has a huge international following as is reflected in the dates she will be playing in the second half of 2001.  Following Fan Fair, she will be playing dates in Nottingham, England; Craponne Sur Arzon, France; Interlaken, Switzerland; Mragowo, Poland; Gavel, Sweden; and Kumamoto, Japan.  In July, she will also  do three USO performances in Bosnia, Italy, and Kosovo. In between, she will  be playing U.S. dates to support her new single and video for Audium  Records.  This week, Amazon.com reports that  "A Shot Of Whiskey And A Prayer" is currently # 13 in Switzerland, # 5 in Sweden, and # 6 in Belgium. Country Music People Magazine in the U.K. reports the CD to be their # 9 best  selling country import.

In Summer 2001, Danni Leigh and her family of pets - Petey, Samson, and Kitti  Kat- will be featured in a new celebrity & their pets book called MUSIC ROW  DOGS & NASHVILLE CATS. The photographer and author is Karen Will Rogers.

During Fan Fair, Danni will film a segment for PBS in Virginia on the life of Patsy Cline.   Danni was raised about 30 minutes from where Patsy Cline was born in Winchester, VA. The show will air in Virginia in November 2001 and  nationwide in June 2002.
