"Well, my mom is the most special person in the world to me. For every bit of laughter she would laugh twice as loud. And every tear that I cried, she cried twice as many. So to have her out there, I know, just as elated as I am, then she is twice as happy about the whole thing," says Jo Dee. Messina is up for ACM Top Female Vocalist Wednesday evening.
