MARTINA McBRIDE AND KINLEYS HELP ABUSED KIDS
Martina McBride and
the Kinleys will take part in a fund-raiser benefiting abused children in Nashville Feb.
25, Martina's management office reports. Martina will be a celebrity judge, tasting and
evaluating 41 Nashville-area restaurants' entries in a soup competition. The Kinleys will
present awards to the winners. (Nashville Update)

& I thought that the fans might want to read it also:
Dear Ms. McBride,
Once again I find myself saying thank you! You are so special, as are your fans, to help
support our children. How gracious of you to pass along the Christmas gifts given in your
honor to the Day Home to help our mission. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness.
I hope Liz has been able to convey to you our heartfelt appreciation. Please come by to
see us when you can so the children and I can personally thank you. Seeing the children
enjoy and blossoming in the security that you helped supply will warm your heart.

I have to tell you, reading this letter made me so happy that we presented Martina with
the award and the contributions. For me it was like a belated Christmas gift knowing that
we all helped to make a difference in the lives of these children. I only wonder what
we'll do THIS year! :)
