Martina At The Rose Parade

It's a New
Year's Day tradition that you won't want to miss this year, as Martina
performs "God Bless America" during the opening of the 113th annual Rose
Parade! The parade, which is part of the Rose Bowl festivities, will air at
10AM Central time on the major television networks, with an estimated
audience of 350 million people worldwide! So, be sure you're up early, or
have those VCR's set for January 1st!!

A Fan Story
Hey! ,
Ok first of all, im a HUGE fan of
Martina's,
i liked her since i was 7 ,my first "idol" i ve looked up to her forever, ,
and i just wanted to tell you your site is AWESOME! i love it and i will be
checking back often!:)
I remember the first time i saw
Martina
i was 7 it was in Hershey PA, and she was performing in a little out door
stage , and i went up , and gave her this Ugly necklace. I thought it
was pretty at the time but , i gave her this necklace ,and in the middle of
her song , she turned around back at the audience , and puts it , on , and
sang the rest of the show with it on, and , i thought it was the coolest
thing ever , and since then i have been hooked , i have seen about 20/30
Martina concerts , my parents love her to
so we used to go to every concert within 6 hours away i have met her a lot
to. but Martina is one of the sweetest people i have ever had the pleasure
meeting, the more generous, nicest artist i have met, and I have met a lot
of artist.
just thought id share with you my Martina story,

Martina will be
appearing on a special holiday edition of Live! With Regis and Kelly (ABC)
on Christmas Eve. She will perform an a cappella version of the Christmas
classic, "h Holy Night." Martina recorded the song for her 1999 Christmas
CD, White Christmas. It is has been heralded as one of her best vocal
performances ever caught on disc. Also performing Christmas carols on the
program are Kermit the Frog, Santa Claus, Regis and Kelly and Broadway star,
Sarah Brightman.
The show is mostly ABC but it's syndicated on other stations in some areas;
check your local listings.

MARTINA AT THE MUSIC
CITY BOWL
Martina will
sing the National Anthem at the Music City Bowl (Boston College vs UGA
Bulldogs) on December 28th at 4:00pm CT. The game will be carried on ESPN
starting at 4:00pm CT. We don't know whether the anthem will be televised.

MARTINA AT THE OLYMPICS
The Salt Lake Organizing
Committee announced on Wednesday that Martina will be among the artists
slated to perform at the
Winter Olympics. On February
24,
Martina will perform a one hour
set for the up to 20,000 fans on the Olympics Medal Plaza.
Entry into the Plaza is free, but a ticket is required. Tickets will be
distributed at Salt Lake City-area Smith's Tix outlets on Jan. 10, 14 and 15
beginning at 7 a.m. Also on the roster of artists performing throughout the
Olympics are Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters, Barenaked Ladies, Train,
Sheryl Crow, Marc Anthony and Brooks & Dunn. The remaining five acts
will be named next month.

WORLD PREMIERE OF BLESSED VIDEO
Set your VCR's; here's what we've been waiting
for! Martina will premiere the video for her new single, "Blessed,"
tomorrow, (Wednesday) Dec 12., on CMT's Most Wanted Live at 5:00 pm CT. The
video also features husband John, and daughters Delaney and Emma. And
Martina will perform "White Christmas" live!!
Taped repeats will air at 11:00pm CT and 7:00am CT Thursday.
