Back to the future

Lego Style

This is my Delorian Time Machien from the movie, "Back to the Future".
I first saw back to the future when I was about 8 or 9 years old, and to me this was one of the greatest movies ever made. So I had no choice but to build my own time matchien. So I got right to it. I would spend hours just sitting on the floor with my lego infront of me deciding how I could get this car to look the way it did in the movie. One hour would pass then 2 then 3, and usually when the 4th hour came along I was finished. My first time machien wasn't excatly presice, I mean if there was a contest I most definatly wouldn't have won, but to me this was one of the best things I had ever built.
Years have gone by now since that first prototype time machien and during those years I have destroyed and built many Lego Delorian time machien's. But now I'm possitive that this is my greatest and most accurate time machien's of my whole lego building carreer. This car has had every detail and every aspect of the original movie car put into concideration. Everything from the gul-wing doors, to the huver convertion, which unfortunatly must be done manualy. aka, pulling the wheels off and connecting them to the side of the car, which has clips built in to them.

If you look through the winsheld you can see the flex capasitor.

Some head shots of the front of the car, and the back of the car.

This is what it looks like from the top, and to "your" right is the bottom of the car.
