Chapter 16

June 4-

"Geez I'm glad that interviews over," I said as we entered the hotel.

"What you didn't like being asked if we were dating," Brian teased. Nick laughed.

"Be quiet," Ash told him. Ari and Zoe walked in behind us.

"We're going upstairs to hang out with Kevin and Howie," she told us as her and Ariana got on the elevator. Then Steph ran by with AJ.

"Me and Aj are gonna go to the mall," she called out.

"So what do we do?" Ash asked.

"I know," I answered, "we can go upstairs and change into our swimsuits to go swimming."

"Sounds good to me," Nick replied and we hopped on the elevator. Everything was fine till the elevator shuddered and stopped.

"What happened?" (Ash)

"I think the elevator stopped," (Brian)

"Well what do we do, there's no emergency phone." (me)

"I guess we stay till the people figure out we're here." (Nick)

"What do you mean we stay till someone figures out we're here. That could be HOURS!" Ash screamed.

"We could yell for help," I suggested.

"OK, on the count of three yell as loud as you can." (Brian)

"1, 2, 3," (Nick)

"HHHHHEEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPP!!!!!!!!" (everyone)

There was no answer. After we did that about 10 times we gave up.

"What do we do now?" I asked.

"Truth or Dare," Brian asked me.

"Dare."

"I dare you to kiss Nick on the lips."

"Are you INSANE!"

"Yup."

"I changed my mind I want truth."

"OK, what's the best prank you ever pulled."

"When we first started the group I dropped water balloons from my 3rd floor hotel room onto people walking below."

"Ash," I asked, "Truth or Dare."

"Truth."

"What's your most embarassing moment?"

"When I was wearing a skirt at school and fell backwards and flashed the entire school."

We all laughed and then fell silent.

15 minutes later Ash broke the silence. "No one's ever gonna find us," she whined.

"Ash," I chastised, "sooner or later someones gonna notice we're gone, so quit complaining!"

She immediately shut up and sat down.

Meanwhile I wondered what the others were doing. (with the others.)

AJ and Steph had just got back and went to see if everyone else knew where we were.

"Have you seen AC and everyone else," Steph and Zoe asked at the same time.

"I'm assuming that's a no," Kevin commented.

"This is no time to joke," Ari said frantically, "They're missing and we have no idea where they are!"

Howie attempted to comfort her, "Don't worry. They probably went to play basketball and forgot to tell us."

"Your probably right,"Ari admitted, "but when she gets back I'm gonna give her a piece of my mind."

And they went back to the movie they had been watching.

It had now been 2 hours since we had gotten stuck.

"I want out of here NOW!" I yelled pounding on the door.

"AC!" Brian shouted,"we all want out but there's nothing we can do till someone figures out we're missing."

"OK OK."

(30 minutes later)

"What's taking them so long to figure out we're gone?" Nick asked to no one imparticular.

"Beats me," Ash sighed, "this is taking forever."

At this moment Brian sat down on his bag.

"Yow!" he cried, "What the... my cell!"

"Wait a minute," I said," you had a cell in here the entire time and didn't know!"

I tackled him and smacked him upside he head. He just glared at me and called the others. An hour and a half later we were out of the elevator.

We ended up going to McDonalds since it was to late to go swimming but Ash refused to take the elevator back down and we didn't blame her.

After dinner we went to our rooms and watched movies. Then we went to bed to rest after the 5 hour long ordeal.
