Chapter 13
~*~Nicks House~*~
"Come on mom!
I’ll set the table, leave the chicken in the oven, I’ll
take it out. It’ll make me look like I made it. Now go! Have
fun tonight! I’ll see you tomorrow afternoon.!" Nick
yelled, as he ushered a flustered looking Jane out of the
kitchen.
Grabbing her coat she gave him a hug and said, "be good Nicky. I’ll tell Grandma you said hi."
Then she walked out of the house along with the whole Carter troop. Slamming the door, he ran to his room to shower and change. The door bell rang.
"Shit." He muttered as he pulled on a clean undershirt. Running down the stairs, he sighed in releif as AJ walked in.
"Yo! I thought you’d be in the shower still. Bring on the chicks, cause the Bone master is here!"
Nick rolled his eyes. "They aren’t here yet. And remember, Stacey is mine, Samantha is yours. H-A-N-D-S O-F-F S-T-A-C-E-Y!" he said spelling the words so AJ could see he was serious.
AJ flung his hands up in the air. "Chill! Go get ready I’ll pour some wine, dim the lights, get some music going. Go change Nicky, I’ll behave myself I promise."
Nick sighed with releif and ran back upstairs.
20 minutes later, he heard the doorbell ring again. AJ will handle them for a minute he thought as he rummaged through his closet.
"Where the hell is my
black shirt?" he asked out loud, crying out in frustration.
~*~Down stairs~*~
Stacey rang the bell. Glancing around, she realized how well off
Nick was. As the door opened she gasped.
"Oh no!" she moaned in mock horror. "Its you!"
AJ laughed. "I feel soooo loved. Come on in, Nicky is still upstairs getting pretty. I can see you don’t need any help with that, you look stunning."
She blushed. "thank you Alex, as do you"
AJ began to glance over her shoulder. "Where’s your friend?"
Stacey glanced towards the lexus parked in the driveway. "She’s looking for her necklace. She’ll be in in a minute. Hey, what happened with you and Kellee?"
AJ shrugged. "She was a bad kisser. And that Ice Queen attitude is a total turn off."
Stacey laughed and punched him in the arm. "Can I come in? Or am I supposed to stand out here all night?"
AJ opened the door wider. "Sure come on in."
Just then Sam ran up to the door. "Stacey...do you have any extra butts? I smoked my last one on the way over."
Then she glanced at AJ and straightened up. "Uh hi, I’m Sam" she said as he starred at her in shock.
"You are so incredibly beautiful" he said, in complete awe.
From behind him he heard Stacey mutter, "Oh god, here we go again"
Sam stepped in side. "This place is awesome. You guys must be fully loaded."
AJ grinned. "Well of course I’m fully loaded......oh yeah...I’ve got money too." He heard Stacey snort.
Sam laughed. " I’d love to see IT sometime."
Stacey walked over, "you should see what's up his ass. Its amazing!"
AJ and her began to laugh uncontrolably. Hearing Nick coming down the hall, they wiped they’re tears away and straightened up.
"Hey guys! Hey Stacey!" He said as he kissed her cheek.
"Hi" she said quietly.
He looked her up and down. "Thats quite a dress you’ve got there."
She glanced down at her black tube dress. "Thanks, you don’t look so bad yourself."
Turning red, she glanced at Sam, who was giggeling at something AJ said. "Uhh, Sam, this is Nick, Nick, this is Sam."
Sam reached out and shook his hand. "Nice to meet you. You’ve got a beautiful place here. Is that the ocean?"
AJ chuckled. "Come on ladies. I’ll give you the tour while Nick gets supper ready."
Winking at Nick, he took the
girls on his arm, and walked them out to the pool/deck area. Nick
sighed, and ran to the kitchen.
