Chapter 2

Oct. 16-

"When are they gonna get here?" It had been the longest month of my life and now we were only minutes away from seeing them again at the airport.

"AC calm down. I can see them from here," Ash said.

"Where?"

"At the entrance."

"Oh my gosh." I started playing with my necklace. It was a nervous habit I developed when Brian gave me the necklace for my birthday. I've worn the necklace everyday since I got it. The boys walked up.

"Brian!" I cried and hugged him as hard as I could. Ash did the same with Nick.

"Um AC can I talk to you?" Brian asked.

"Sure."

"Um, well, I kinda wanted you to know why I didn't write or call."

"You were busy. I understand."

"It's not that. I loved you. I didn't want to miss you even more."

"What," I was in disbelief, "I felt the same about you."

"Really."

"Yup."

"So I guess that means if I asked you out on a date for after we got unpacked in New York you'd say yes."

"Of course."

"Flight 736 to New York is now boarding," the announcer called. We grabbed our bags and boarded.

"Ash come here," I grabbed her and pulled her aside. "Brian just asked me on a date."

"Your kidding cause Nick just asked me out."

"Your kidding."

"Nope."

"Congratulations!" I cried," Now let's board our flight so we can catch up on the sleep we missed talking till 3:30 in the morning."
