Chapter 9
It was a month later. I was on the tour with BSB. We decided that
we wouldn't do anymore concerts till 2 months after the babies
were born. Brian and Nick took Ash and I on tour with them. Bri
wanted me close to him so he could be there for the entire
pregnancy and of course we took Dr. Cole to make sure everything
went OK.
I was in my hotel room waiting for the boys to get back when Ashley ran in crying.
"What's wrong?"
"I skipped my period," she wailed.
"Oh boy here we go again. Don't worry we have a qualified doctor with us Dr. Cole can give you the test and we'll know before the guys get back."
"OK," she sniffled. We walked to Dr. Cole's room.
"Dr. Cole, Ash skipped her period."
"OK we'll just do the test and you'll know in an hour. This time I'll check real careful to see if it's multiple." His attempt to lighten the mood worked.
Ash laughed.
1 hour later-
"The results are in," Dr. Cole said," Ash your pregnant, but it's only 1. It should be due February 23."
Ash looked a little scared. "It's OK. Your lucky you'll only have to put up with 1 I'll have 2." She smiled.
"Nick's gonna be here any minute. Get everyone together I want to tell them all at the same time."
"OK."
20 minutes later all of us were in Kev's room and the rest of Arcadia was on speaker phone.
"What is it?" Nick asked with concern.
"Well there's no easy way to say it but...I'm pregnant."
"Are you and AC on the same vitamins or something?"
"No,it's only 1 child, and it's due February 23. Nick do you want the sex to be a surprise?"
"Yeah."
"OK it's settled."
Then Steph talked over the speaker phone,"I guess concerts are postponed another month."
"Yes," I said.
Ash and Nick looked at each
other happily and gave each other a long kiss.
