I have had my Lotus since 1976. I think the guy that sold it to me probably knew that the chassis was rotten but 'love is blind' and I just had to have it. When I bought it it was a kind of airforce blue but I soon changed it to the colour scheme you see above.
During my ownership it has filled many roles; daily commutor, Jill's transport complete with carry cot, continental tourer ,commercial traveller and now it comes out on highdays and holidays. Its been perfectly reliable (apart from the chassis falling apart!) but will soon have to be treated to head modification for the unleaded petrol that our dear cousins in Brussels are forcing on us.
