Ancient Greece

Perhaps the most important concept the Greeks held (that we often forget) is that theatre must be about the awe of the universe. Always, with Greek drama, conflict arose from characters who toyed with fundamental elements. Whether it was finding out that you've committed incest or that your ego has blinded you from seeing the truth, Greek theatre was radical - it looked at the very roots of our existence.

As thespians we can find inspiration in this purity. Whether you are an actor, writer or set designer, we can forever use Ancient Greece as our touchstone for keeping our priorities in check.
