Borak was an ancient, a member of the
Entropy Coalition. In his studies of the Chaos, he had noticed strange
creatures there, and he was extremely curious. What would happen if some
of the elements of chaos were injected into a dreamer's avatar? One dark
night, he slipped into the chaos and took a small sample, placing it in a
small vial. Returning to the dream, he thought long for a test subject,
finally deciding on Divonne, a young apprentice of his and daughter of another
member of the coalition. Slipping into her room, he injected her
sleeping avatar with the chaos, and she transformed into a nightmare.
About that time, her father entered the room, saw the nightmare in his
daughter's bed and assuming that the creature had killed his daughter, took
his blade and destroyed the creature, casting his daughter's essences to the
ends of the dream. Borak grabbed his arm, and told the father he had
just slain his own daughter, and of his experiments. In anger, the father
turned the same blade on Borak, sending him into eternity never to be seen
again.
